The Birth of Venus, XIII

The Birth of Venus, XIII

For a short aquatic moment out of eons,
two weightless bodies of matter soared,
into a fine mist of slow white light;
they danced stage-center & streaked
into view quickly, yet deftly, they looped.

A strand of marine wire united at a point
of incarnate flight, they lived spot-lit together.
Ebb-flowed & pressure-pushed, one fine line
into the next machination.
Winged-tip slight curve, to soar into a white
void & they flew into endless horizons.
